Class Hours: 0 Lab/Discussion: 6 Credits: 2 Prerequisite: NURS 316; grades of “C” or better in NURS 330 and NURS 331 and NURS 332 and NURS 333 and NURS 336 and NURS 337 or by permission Corequisite: NURS 434 or by permission Restriction: Nursing majors only. Description: Provides opportunities for clinical practice as a provider of public/community health nursing care for the individual, family, population, and global community. Models being a member of the professional and community team when working among diverse and/or vulnerable populations impacted by the social determinants of health. Emphasizes health policy, leadership, collaboration, communication and providing safe, quality, comprehensive, inclusive, evidence-based nursing care.
