Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: NURS 236 or permission Description: Provides the nursing student with a pathophysiological approach to the therapeutic use of medications. Relationships between pharmacology and pathophysiology are explored. An emphasis will be placed on understanding prescribed pharmacotherapy, therapeutic goals, nursing assessment and interventions, and patient well-being related to the effects of specific diseases or conditions
