Class Hours: 4 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 4 Prerequisite: FONU 212 , and PSYC 215 ; grades of “C” or better in BIOL 240 and BIOL 241 and NURS 206 and NURS 207 and NURS 208 and 210 ; or by permission Corequisite: NURS 337 or by permission Restriction: Nursing major only Description: Introduces disease processes and prevention, collaborative care, and implementation of the nursing process for adults and older adults. Enhances knowledge regarding assessing human response to changing health and applying the appropriate nursing interventions for safe person-centered care. Incorporates evidence-based practice when caring for adults and older adults.
