Class Hours: 2 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 2 Prerequisite: FONU 212 and PSYC 215 and grades of “C” or better in BIOL 240 and BIOL 241 and NURS 206 and NURS 207 and NURS 208 and NURS 210; or by permission Corequisite: NURS 331, or by permission Restriction: Nursing majors only. Description: Introduces the foundational knowledge of nursing practice essential to provide quality care to promote the health and wellbeing for the child and family. Integrates holistic health assessments and plan of care with consideration of interprofessional collaboration to inform clinical judgment for a diverse population. Applies evidence-based interventions and evaluates outcomes for the care of the child and family.
