Class Hours: 0 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 1 Prerequisite: NURS 211 , NURS 212 with grades of “C” or better Corequisite: NURS 214 , NURS 236 ; or permission Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIOL 240 with grade of “C” or better Description: Builds on the Fundamentals I Clinical course. Opportunities for students to continue to develop professional knowledge and skills with diverse individuals and families in a variety of settings with a focus on adults and older adults. Emphasizes developing the ability to perform comprehensive health assessments, use therapeutic communication, and provide basic nursing skills while promoting safe and quality health care.
