Prerequisite: BIOL 150 with a grade of “C” or better, CHEM 103/255 or CHEM 101/CHEM 102 or CHEM 111/CHEM 112 and NURS 210, sophomore standing; or by permission Corequisite: NURS 206 and NURS 208 or by permission Description: Provides opportunities to demonstrate basic nursing skills fundamental to the safe practice of professional nursing in a healthcare setting. Provides a foundation to build professional knowledge base as well as develop interpersonal and psychomotor skills with a focus on person-centered care for adults and older adults.
