Catalog description

Prerequisite: BIOL 150 with a grade of “C” or better, CHEM 103/255 or CHEM 101/CHEM 102 or CHEM 111/CHEM 112 and NURS 210, sophomore standing; or by permission Corequisite: NURS 207 and NURS 208 or by permission Description: Introduces the nursing profession, nursing process, safe care, and values that are foundational to practice. Provides an overview of the various levels of healthcare services and the professional nursing roles. Develops the ability to utilize clinical decision-making and identify evidence-based practice when caring for adults and older adults.
