Class Hours: 1 Lab/Discussion: 1 Credits: 1 Description: A laboratory course in Italian diction for first-semester voice majors. Meets for two hours per week. Emphasizes pronunciation for the stage and the International Phonetic Alphabet. Students demonstrate skills by singing Italian solo song literature and operatic repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries.
