Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MATH 476 Description: Continues study of algebra by use of axiomatic method; Euclidean domains; polynomial domains and extension fields included; interrelationships between these structures and simpler structures, particularly groups and rings, are developed as in study of Galois group of a polynomial and in an introduction to Galois theory.
