Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Sophomore standing Restriction: Enrolled in mathematics education Description: Topics in discrete mathematics, including systematic counting, graph coloring, networks, and their applications, as well as the historical background and the role of discrete mathematics in today’s world. Uses a problem-solving, hands-on approach to content. Explores curricular materials, resources, and activities relevant to teaching discrete mathematics at the middle and secondary levels.
