Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MATH 151 Description: Explores some of the basic algebraic concepts including the real number system and solving linear equations and inequalities with one and two variables. An emphasis will also be placed on studying the coordinate plane, exploring the slope of a line, graphing lines, and writing equations of lines. Connections are made with the teaching and learning of algebraic concepts in the elementary and middle schools.
