Class Hours: 1 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 1 Prerequisite: Placement Score. Corequisite: UGSS 183 Restriction: May not be taken after successfully completing any course offered by the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences without written Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department chair approval. Description: Explores basic mathematical skills with an emphasis on conceptual understanding. Provides foundational knowledge needed for success in general education mathematics courses. Utilizes hands-on activities with mathematical manipulatives to develop computational fluency and procedural knowledge. Carries institutional, nondegree credit. May not be taken after successfully completing MATH 100 or higher-level mathematics course without written Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department chair approval. Previously Offered As: (Offered as DVST 095 before 2015-16.)
