Investigates and analyzes how literary meaning is constructed through encounters with significant literary texts. Develops understanding of how literature shapes and is shaped by its various contexts; and how literature enables critical inquiry into values. Includes literary texts by women and people from underrepresented communities. Previously Offered As: Also offered as ENGL 121.
