Class Hours: 1 Lab/Discussion: 2 Credits: 1 Prerequisite: Basic swimming skills Description: Students learn to teach children and adults basic swimming and water safety skills. Emphasis placed on proper body mechanics and teaching progressions. Students have opportunity to earn American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification upon successful completion of requirements.
