Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: SOC 151 OR SOC 161 Corequisite: none Restriction: none Description: Examines the prevalence, causes, and social implications of physical, sexual, emotional, and neglect forms of child abuse in society. Studies child abuse from the individual, family, and societal level perspectives. Potential intervention strategies will also be considered.
