Class Hours: 0 Lab/Discussion: 2 Credits: 1 Prerequisite: Must be taken after or concurrent with GNSC 107 Description: A basic laboratory course in chemistry for the non-science major. Laboratory exercises are for the students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the process of science and of the significance of chemistry in everyday life. These laboratory exercises will demonstrate basic chemical principles and will include consumer topics, such as acids and bases, nuclear chemistry, water hardness, and food additives.
