Fundamentals of Chemistry

Catalog description

Class Hours: 2 Lab/Discussion: 2 Credits: 3 Restriction: Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Education/Special Education major or instructor permission Description: Surveys chemical principles and concepts for pre-service early childhood/ special education majors. A variety of chemical concepts is presented, as well as their applications to technology and society. A series of laboratory exercises and projects will allow student to develop inquiry-based activities for the communication of scientific and chemical concepts with the goal of developing scientific literacy.
