Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Restriction: No Geoscience majors/minors Description: Covers the history, technical considerations, and scientific and social issues of the exploration of the planets and smaller objects of the solar system. Early rocketry, the race to the Moon, and past robotic missions provide a perspective to consider current and future science missions and human settlement beyond earth. Includes field observations and activities that may occur on evenings and weekends.
