Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: PHYS 131 Description: Applies basic laws of fluid mechanics with applications to engineering problems, hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, open systems and control volume analysis, mass conservation and momentum conservation for moving fluids, viscous fluid flows, flow through pipes, and dimensional analysis.
