Prerequisite: LITT 121 OR HONR 102 Corequisite: N/A Restriction: N/A Description: Focuses on a specific literary genre (including, but not limited to, poetry, drama, film, the short story, or the novel) as it has been developed and transformed in global contexts beyond the typical domains of the British or American literary traditions. Situates the use of a genre within transnational literary and historical developments. The global genre studied in a particular semester to be announced in advance.
