Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ENGL 202 Description: Focuses on the practice of persuasive discourse in speech, writing, and visual media. Includes projects and readings in debate, written argument, and rehearsed and extemporaneous speaking. Students investigate such subjects as rhetorical foundations and applications, language choice and stylistic variations, popular culture, literature, and communication dynamics.
