Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ENGL 101 or ENGL 103 Description: A survey of the major issues in and uses of rhetorical theory and criticism in contemporary culture, using rhetorical concepts from ancient through contemporary times. Rhetoric is the humanistic study of the ways people manipulate language and try to persuade others in the social world.
