Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ENGL 101 or ENGL 103 ; and LITT 121 or ENGL 122 Description: A survey of major authors and works in British and American literature since 1900. Begins with the shift from Victorianism and late 19th-century literature into modernism, as exemplified by writers such as Woolf, Hemingway, and O’Neill, and continues with postmodernism and contemporary literature.
