Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Description: Presents the foundations, theories, and research findings on human growth from conception, including basic embryogenesis, up to early adolescence. Examines various aspects of child development with an emphasis on biological, cultural, educational, and parental influences that shape children, as well as selective examples of typical and atypical cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
