Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ECON 356 or equivalent or instructor permission Dual Listed: May be dual listed with ECON 556. Description: Extends the theory and practice of econometrics knowledge and skill set developed in an introductory econometrics course. Demonstrates greater proficiency in econometric analysis and research skills through additional exposure to the scholarly literature. Considers a variety of topics related to regression analysis, including violations of the Classical assumptions, extensions of the basic regression model, and advanced regression techniques.
