Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Restriction: Early childhood education/special education, early childhood education, or speech-language pathology majors. Description: Acquaints students with the process of children’s language acquisition and development through expressive skills and language comprehension. Observation, documentation, and assessment of language development across the areas of listening, speaking, writing, drawing, and reading are explored from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
