Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Three introductory- or advanced-level dance classes from DANC 250 , DANC 260 , DANC 270 , DANC 280 , DANC 290 , DANC 485 , or instructor permission Description: Introduces the necessary teaching skills and curriculum development needed to understand the pedagogical structure for teaching dance. Students learn the approaches to teaching that are unique to dance and will learn to design dance curriculum.
