Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: CRIM 101 or CRIM 102 Description: Introduces the leading theories and research in the area of violent criminal behavior and victimization. A special emphasis is on patterns of violent offending and victimization over time, victim-offender relationships, and the experience of victims in the criminal justice system. Addresses major violent crimes including murder, rape, robbery, and assault.
