Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: CRIM 101 or CRIM 102 or departmental permission Description: Provides an understanding of the juvenile justice system and the various cases and legislative initiatives that have affected juvenile justice policy, in addition to examining the evolution of the juvenile justice system and the transformation of the current issues in juvenile justice in the United States. Attention is also focused on juvenile justice policies and procedures in other countries.
