Class Hours: 3 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: COMM 249 or COMM 349 ; cannot be taken concurrently; Corequisite: none Restriction: Communications media major or communications media minor Description: Introduces the process of journalistic and narrative storytelling through audio media such as radio broadcasting, and podcasting. Examines approaches including sound gathering, interviewing, scriptwriting, editing, and sound design, and how these are best applied to crafting audio stories. Provides real-world outlets for course projects via the university’s radio station.
