Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: COMM 101 , communications media major or minor, popular music studies certificate, audio production certificate, or digital history certificate enrollment or permission Description: Theory and practice of audio production, developing an understanding of the techniques of audio recording as well as the ability to make sound recordings. Addresses recording and mixing techniques and the use of audio software. Offers exposure to recording for various media. Provides hands-on experience through labs and projects to be completed outside of class.
