Class Hours: var Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3-12 Restriction: Junior Standing and Department permission Description: Provides on-the-job experience in management information systems and information technology with private and government employers. Integrates a supervised learning experience that combines the student’s academic background with practical experience related to the student’s major area of interest. Requires periodic consultation with a faculty member and employer evaluations. Requires completion of related academic work and writing intensive components in the form of progress reports, final reports, and oral presentations. Forty hours of supervised internship is equivalent to one academic credit hour. The course can be repeated for a maximum of 12 credits. Repeated: May be taken up to four times for a total of 12 credits.
