Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: CMSC 216 and either CMSC 345 or CMSC 352 / ITMG 352 Description: Explores mechanisms for protecting networks against attacks. Emphasizes network security applications that are used on the Internet and for corporate networks. Investigates various networking security standards and studies methods for enforcing and enhancing those standards.
