Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BIOL 210 or BIOL 362 Dual Listed: BIOL 604 Description: Focuses on applying an understanding of ecosystem disturbance, sound ecological principles, and plant’s requirements to develop or assess forest restoration plans. Utilizes a combination of formal lecture, student led discussions of the current literature, and field experiences to provide students a broad understanding of forest restoration with an emphasis on regionally important examples. Requires participation in field trip(s).
