Catalog description

Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 4 Prerequisite: BIOL 202 ; not open to students who have successfully completed BIOL 150 ; not open to students who have completed fewer than 60cr. Description: An intensive study of the gross anatomical structures and their functions within the human body. Explores the organization and integration of the human body on a region-by-region basis. For each region of the body, students observe all structures within that region simultaneously. This approach allows students to appreciate the integration of different biological systems within the body. Laboratory sessions center on regional cadaver dissection by groups of students to appreciate 3-D anatomical relationships.
