Class Hours: 2 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BIOL 203 Description: Studies cellular, molecular, and genetic control of embryonic and post-embryonic development. Introduces the principles of cell differentiation, stem cell behavior, and how cell fate decisions are coupled to the morphogenesis of tissues/organs. Emphasizes how the loss of developmental signaling pathways lead to the onset of human disease.
