Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BIOL 104 or BIOL 203 ; CHEM 101 or CHEM 111 or CHEM 113 ; CHEM 102 or CHEM 112 or CHEM 114 Description: A study of uptake, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of environmental chemicals; mechanisms of their toxicity; and their effects on major organ systems. Knowledge of these topics is applied to risk assessment procedures.
