Class Hours: 2 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BIOL 201 Description: Examines the evolution, form, and function of all major animal phyla, from sponges through chordates. Interactive lecture-laboratory sessions follow a phylogenetic approach to the animal kingdom and incorporate essentials of animal ecology, physiology, functional morphology, and behavior.
