Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ARED 215 (minimum C grade) and art education major Description: Secure the knowledge and skills necessary to teach a program of compre­hensive art that includes the discipline of art criticism. Establishes theoreti­cal frameworks for writing intelligently and talking about art with students from a critical perspective. Also provides opportunities for developing curricular and pedagogical materials appropriate for teaching art K-12.
