Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Restriction: Admission to Step 1 of the 3-Step Process Description: Examines children’s artistic development in relation to teaching art in K-6 settings. Explores types of art programs, planning, motivation, content, and evaluation of art lessons for all students in elementary art classes, includ­ing those with special needs. Students apply theories and knowledge to the design of instructional curricula, units, and lessons, as well as practice and critique the delivery of instruction.
