Class Hours: 0 Lab/Discussion: 2 Credits: 2 Prerequisite: Social Studies Education major and EDUC 242 Corequisite: EDUC 342 Description: A laboratory experience providing the opportunity to explore and experiment with strategies and methodologies connected with teaching in the various disciplines of the social studies. Offers hands-on experience with public school students in a controlled setting. Allows students to experience middle and high school settings as well as build a repertoire of social studies teaching methodologies that enables them to complete EDUC 342 more effectively.
