Academic Competencies

Catalog description

This course focuses on developing academic competencies that will enable students to return to and maintain good academic standing to degree completion. Seminars will feature interactive learning in an academic environment supported by peer mentoring, weekly learning labs, and common skills and self-assessment tutorials. Course content will include common texts and/or topics and learning activities that will support content knowledge and skill development. Notes: Open to freshmen whose academic standing is PR or PD or to any students with consent of the University College Dean.
