Catalog description

This course discusses the various placement and service delivery models in special education and unique issues related to DHH students. Covered are methods for planning, teaching, adapting, and assessing curriculum in content areas, social-emotional skills, and transition for DHH students in the general education setting. Skills for itinerant teaching, consultation, and collaborative teaming with professionals and families are discussed. Notes: This class is offered online with required face-to-face classes and weekend seminars.
