Catalog description

This course investigates the social construction of sex, sexuality, and the regulation of sexuality in society. Through reading past and current sociological research on sexualities, students will learn about how sociologists study sexualities, understand contemporary topics in the field of sexuality studies, and analyze various social institutions that influence sexual norms and values in society.
