Senior Cap Sem in Physics

Catalog description

A culminating experience in physics. Research seminars will be given by professional scientists from academia and industry; students will interact with them through discussions and reflect upon their research through written assignments. The course includes a significant independent literature research project on a specific and focused topic within physics. Students will give multiple presentations on this topic, progressing in focus and scientific depth. Prerequisites: Major in Physics and Senior standing (more than 90 total credits earned).
