Catalog description

Clinical experience in the care of the elderly designed to prepare the student for the evaluation and treatment of geriatric patients with complex problems. Prevention of medical misadventures and sensitivity to quality of life issues will be emphasized. Long term care, hospital, office and home visits are included. Prerequisites: Approval of clinical coordinator.
