Catalog description

Clinical experiences in a hospital based emergency department to include the triage, stabilization, treatment and / or transfer of patients with urgent and emergent conditions. Students also learn strategies for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues experiencing various levels of stress. Prerequisites: Approval of clinical coordinator.
