Catalog description

The student develops skills and knowledge required to perform effective supervision of occupational therapy (OT) and non-OT personnel, as well as serve as a leader and change agent in the occupational therapy profession. The student develops knowledge regarding health care systems, legal issues, service delivery models and OT program management. Students develop professional skills related to leadership and team dynamics, exploring components of professionalism, self-awareness and communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) relevant to occupational therapy practice.
