Catalog description

Students develop basic skills needed for occupational therapy practice including HIPAA and confidentiality, blood-borne pathogens and universal precautions, vital signs training, positioning and draping techniques, client handling techniques, use of wheelchairs and ambulation devices, and patient care equipment. Safety will be emphasized.
