Catalog description

This course provides the core knowledge necessary to understand the physiological and pharmacological aspects of illness and disease. Scientific principles necessary to recognize relationships between pathology, pharmacology, and nursing care are addressed. Opportunities are provided to practice medication administration and calculation skills through demonstration and simulation. Concurrent Enrollment: NURS 209 4 credits (3 didactic, 1 clinical)
